Hi, I’m Pearls — and welcome to Yesterday’s Pearls
What started in 2020 as a digital journal for documenting my crochet projects on Instagram quickly grew into something more: the dream of sharing my handmade accessories with others.
Yesterday’s Pearls is my little corner of creativity, where I offer cute, handcrafted crochet pieces like rosette shoe clips, mesh hats, and bandanas — all made with love (and yarn). I like to think of myself as a jack-of-all-trades and an aspiring master of one: crochet. I also dabble in sewing, embroidery, painting, and most recently piñata making (check out my four-part TikTok series!). My journey began with custom orders through Instagram DMs, and in January 2024, I took a big leap by opening my Etsy shop. While Etsy brought some sweet moments and growth, I ultimately chose to step away from a platform whose affiliations didn’t align with my values. That choice led me here — to Mayhem Market Place.
@YesterdaysPearls on Instagram remains a blend of my everyday life as a crochet artist, sustainability enthusiast, human rights advocate, nature lover, educator, and an ever-evolving human being. I'm so glad you're here.
